Shell or fabric luggage?
Shell or plastic luggage is generally stronger and more durable. They protect your cargo better and offer greater resistance to moisture and water. Another advantage is the greater choice of colours and designs. Usually the division in shell/plastic suitcases is into two compartments. One with a snap-on tarpaulin, the other with a cross-lock.
Textile suitcases tend to be lighter with a lower purchase price. With textile material, you don't have to worry about the luggage breaking, but the durability and protection of the stored items may be lower. Textile suitcases are usually designed with one large storage compartment.

Both locks work on the principle of a numerical code in three positions. So the security against unwanted entry is identical. However, the undeniable advantage of the TSA lock is the accessibility during air traffic control. When the airport security officer can check the luggage without damaging the lock or other parts of the suitcase.
What other things can I use with my suitcases?

Name tags, labels, hang tags it doesn't matter what you call it, but when a suitcase is lost it's a little thing that can help identify the luggage and speed its return.
